Beschreibung
Futures Stories – literarische Texte für Kinder und Jugendliche, die Zukunft thematisieren – können als Medien der Imagination im Unterricht der Primarstufe und Sekundarstufe 1 genutzt werden, um die Vorstellungsbildung zu unterstützen und Zukünftedenken zu fördern. „Lesen für die Zukunft“ wird als evidenzbasiertes Konzept für die Didaktik der Zukünftebildung am UNESCO Chair in Learning and Teaching Futures Literacy in the Anthropocene an der PH NÖ entwickelt. Erforscht wird, inwiefern das didaktische Konzept „Lesen für die Zukunft“ zur Förderung von Vorstellungsbildung für Zukünftedenken beiträgt und inwiefern Zukunftserzählungen Zukünftedenken und die Vorstellung alternativer nachhaltiger Zukünfte anregen können.

Reading for the future: Futures stories – literary texts for children and young adults that focus on the future – can be used as a medium for imagination in primary and lower secondary school teaching to support imagination and promote futures thinking. “Reading for the Future” is being developed as an evidence-based concept for teaching future literacy at the UNESCO Chair in Learning and Teaching Futures Literacy in the Anthropocene at the PH NOE. Research is being conducted into the extent to which the didactic concept of “Reading for the Future” contributes to the promotion of imagination for futures thinking and the extent to which futures stories can stimulate futures thinking and the imagination of alternative sustainable futures.
