Beschreibung
Beschreibung (engl.)
The project aims at developing in-service training modules for All-Day schools wishing to adapt their programme towards ESD and transformative learning. In order to do so, this project aims at learning from existing good-practice examples. Accordingly, two case studies in all-day schools are going to be conducted in each project country. The different project countries (Norway, Portugal, Germany and Austria) differ in their educational concepts, curricula and practices. Thus, a greater learning effect can be expected than from a national project. Following the analysis of the single cases, the next step is a cross case analysis of all cases, focusing on similarities and differences between the project countries and school types. The findings from the case studies will provide the basis for a teacher training course to support teachers in incorporating ESD and transformative learning in their schools. Accordingly, in a next step an international blended-learning course is developed using practitioner-researcher design hubs. To do so, researchers at PH Ludwigsburg and Inland Norway University present the case study results to a number of 3-5 practitioners from participating schools. During two 3 hours workshops the researchers and practitioners figure out together which materials and course content will be needed to help all-day schools to include ESD / transformative education in their school curricula. The developed course will then be available in all four project countries and will use a blended learning design.
